The Phantom of the Opera was a musical stage adaptation written and produced by Wayne R Scott. It was performed in Redlands, California in August and September of 2017.
The first act closely followed the Leroux novel, including scenes of a young Erik joining a circus. The second act borrows heavily from Phantom: An American Musical, including the revelation that Erik had always the creative force behind the opera and the manager was his father.
